In most cases, yes. Visylix discovers ONVIF cameras (the common camera control standard) and connects to RTSP streams directly. It also reads existing recorder archives from Hikvision, Dahua, Uniview, I8H, Bosch and Panasonic, plus CP Plus, Honeywell, Sparsh and Godrej models, so past footage stays reachable during a migration.
