About Pose Estimation

Visylix Pose Estimation applies a top-down multi-person pose pipeline that first detects every individual in the frame, then regresses 17 anatomical keypoints covering the head, shoulders, elbows, wrists, hips, knees, and ankles. The resulting skeleton data feeds into downstream classifiers for fall detection, ergonomic risk assessment, gesture recognition, and activity categorization. Temporal smoothing ensures stable joint positions even during fast movement, while occlusion-aware inference handles partially visible bodies. The model operates at video rate on edge GPUs, making it suitable for both offline analysis and real-time alerting in industrial, healthcare, and retail environments.
